Every day, I hide under the table in despair

Kibbles won't satisfy my desire.
My howls won't justify my hunger.
Hunger for what hoomans eat.
Hunger for what I deserve to eat.
So I wait in the darkness.
Swallowing my sadness.
I beg and beg,
But they just ignore me as I sit down and shine my puppy eyes on them.
But I know they are cold hoomans.
Then I go back to my kibbles and crunch my food with bitter sweetness.
OMG MOMMY DROPPED SOMETHING I MUST GETZ IT

I'm also part of the family.
Why must I eat in the corner alone?
Same brown hard kibbles just can't satisfy me.
One day I will end up at the table, eating the same food as daddy, mommy, big sis and big bro.
Until then, I must eat and recharge my energy to fight for my freedom.
